Terms and Conditions

*Prices include VAT.

*The approximate rental total is based on the information provided by the client at the time of booking.

*The customer must present original official identification and a valid driver’s license. As well as a proof of your stay in the city, it can be a hotel reservation, Airbnb or similar, electricity, water or property tax receipt.

*The client can purchase additional services to those of his reservation such as; car seat, chauffeur service and/or extra days at the time of payment.

*The total cost of the reservation must be paid before picking up the vehicle.

*The security deposit is held by REMS Car and will be returned in full as long as the rented car does not have any damage to the interior of the vehicle, lack of gasoline or violations.

*The minimum age for renting a vehicle is 18 years old.

*The minimum rental period is one day.

*The price of the reservation includes the services described in the reservation. Broad coverage insurance and additional driver.

*In case an additional driver is required, he/she must be present when picking up the vehicle and must present an original official ID and valid driver’s license.

*The car will have to be returned and delivered as confirmed in this reservation. In case the service is outside the branch. The cost for transportation within the city of Merida will be $350 Mexican pesos per single trip.

*The vehicle cannot leave the limits of the Mexican Republic without prior consent of REMS Car. In this case, special insurance must be taken out in accordance with the laws of the country to which you are traveling.

*The lessor and the lessee faithfully undertake to comply with the clauses set forth in the Vehicle Lease Agreement provided by REMS Car.
